CHA

I currently work for CHA, I have been here since before my graduation from SUNY Poly. I started at CHA in May of 2019. I created an application for CHA to launch specific customizations of design software, including things like Autocad, Civil 3D, Microstation and InRoads. I manage an elevated Helpdesk queue that pertains to Design Software and general IT. Use Adobe Illustrator and Design Software To help create PE Stamps for Professional Engineers. Create and manage Power Automate routines to automate tasks for the company. Help develop and manage standards for the company. Help research and implement new technology such as BIM, Virtual Reality and Pinnacle Series.

Design Application Manager

I created the graphical user interface and functionality for an application used within the company called Design Application Manager. The C# .NET application reads an xml that is located on the same computer as the application. The application can handle a dynamic xml that can change by the day. Once the application is started, a script starts that copies files from a network location onto the computer in question. The user then makes the selections shown in the picture, which then launches the software based on the customization chosen. Also built in linking to a help website for user.

Manage Elevated Helpdesk Queue

I manage an elevated level of Helpdesk queue for the Design Technologies department at my company. I help with anything from bad web connections and slow computers to specifics like how to create a wall in Revit or pipe networks in Civil 3D.

Manage PE Stamps & Certs.

I manage the creation and distribution of professional engineering stamps for the professional engineers. I also manage the distribution of digital certificates for the professional engineers for digitally signing and certifying documents. I use a mix of Autocad and Adobe Illustrator to create the PE Stamps.

Power Automate

I create Microsoft Power Automate functions to help automate tasks for the company. I have created things like forms that once answered, send out emails based on answers and then create inputs into an excel spreadsheet for data collection. There are many different things that can be done with Power Automate, for instance you can make a twitter account tweet something every time there is a message sent in Microsoft Teams.

BIM & Pinnacle Series

I help with the administration of pinnacle series as well ass Autodesk and Bentley's cloud storage systems. I create projects, add and remove users and make sure that users have correct access to file locations. I make sure that Pinnacle series users are being added to have access based on active directory.

SUNY Polytechnic Institute

I graduated SUNY Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science in the fall of 2019. I did lots of computer programming in languages including: C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Kotlin, Python, SQL, MySQL, etc. I have created many projects while in College. One project was a facial recognition application which ran on an android phone and was made with Intellij IDE in Kotlin programming language. My capstone project was in Python and was a computer learning project that taught a program to beat a level of "Contra" the video game.

Hudson Valley Community College

I started my college career in 2015 by enrolling at Hudson Valley Community College. I graduated with a Associates of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology. I studied things like engineering materials, Mechanical Design and Engineering tools. For our final project we designed and built an RC car and competed them in races.
